World Tourism Day 2019
𝗢𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, #𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺𝗗𝗮𝘆, 𝘄𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗘𝗴𝘆𝗽𝘁 — 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁
In November 2018, we transparently launched a comprehensive, coherent and consistent policy framework aimed at unleashing the potential of #Egypt’s tourism sector. Since then, we have been executing the various policies outlined in the Egypt—Tourism Reform Program (E—TRP). On World Tourism Day, September 27, 2019, we wanted to share with our stakeholders, international partners and our people, the first progress report of E—TRP that showcases the delivery of the reform policies across the 5 structural reform pillars. I would like to thank all stakeholders for their relentless efforts & passion, working together to implement the procedures outlined in the program and achieving its objectives with a vision to achieve a sustainable tourism sector through implementing structural reforms that strengthen the sector’s competitiveness and are in line with international standards.
